 A splendid two-hour hike through the trails of Tortuguero's National Park where you will enjoy the natural beauty of the region's tropical rainforest. Throughout the hike, you will be able to spot plants, and trees native to the region, as well as an array of animals like monkeys, snakes, iguanas, and many more.

Enjoy the marvelous experience of watching a turtle nesting with us. We follow strict rules to avoid disturbing the turtles. 

• From March to April: Leatherback sea turtle.

Only small numbers of this species arrive. Not the best time to do this tour

• From early July to October: Green sea turtles, hawksbill, and loggerhead. The best time to do the tour! Tortuguero is internationally recognized for protecting the most important green turtle nesting site in the Western Hemisphere, ¡lots of them!

With a naturalist as your guide, discover the wonders of the night in the humid tropical rainforest. A wide array of nocturnal critters are common discoveries in nocturnal walks, and a great display of mysterious sounds will welcome you as you walk deeper into the forest.

A dormant volcano...Cerro Tortuguero is the highest hill in a vast area that is comprised of totally flat plains. From the Cerro Tortuguero highest viewpoint, you can appreciate the landscape that surrounds the canals, the jungle, and the Caribbean Sea. A beautiful naturalistic walk along paved trails and a stairway that will take you all the way to the top of the hill.

Allow us to guide you to the only dormant volcano in Tortuguero. A 15-minute boat ride will take you to Cerro Tortuguero, which serves as a landmark for turtle arrival. This is just the beginning of an unforgettable adventure, discovering the secrets of Caño Palma, a river that will lead us to the magical Laguna 4, a place where only a few venture.
