Cancellation Policy

24 hours or more before your tour

Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour start time to receive a 100% refund. To cancel, contact Tortuguero Adventures with your name, tour date and booking reference.

Less than 24 hours & no-shows

Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time are non-refundable. No-shows are also non-refundable.

National Park closures & booking assistance

If Tortuguero National Park closes and your tour cannot operate, we will refund the affected tour in full.

The tour cancellation policy applies to tours booked directly with Tortuguero Adventures. For reservations made through another platform or travel agency, please consult the conditions on your booking.

Accommodation cancellation policy

For direct bookings at Tortuguero Adventures Guesthouse and Beach House, cancellation charges are based on your scheduled check-in time:

48 hours or more before check-in: 100% refund.

Less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours before check-in: the first night is charged.

Less than 24 hours before check-in: 100% of the booking total is charged.

To cancel, contact us with your name, arrival date and booking reference. For bookings made through another platform or travel agency, the conditions on your booking confirmation apply.
